  • Fri-YAY, indeed!

The day has come! We sent the last payment to this car note! Paying off this car by end of summer was my STRETCH goal and thanks to my new part time job and August’s extra paychecks, it was possible!!!
Our first payment was due May 14th of THIS year and I’m so proud we were able to pay off the car in less than 4 months from that date! 🙌🏻 I can’t believe this car is 100% ours and we’re able to keep it as long as we can!

  • Being able to retire by 30 is something most people can only dream of. 💸
-
But in 2019 and going forward, it’s more doable than ever.
-
Everyday, there’s THOUSANDS of new millionaires.. Only in the US! 😨
-
And you could be next! There’s no one stopping you but you.
-
So many people say they want to retire by 30, but they aren’t willing to make the sacrifices to actually do it.

  • Here is Another Money Mistake Millennials Avoid 👉🏽Ignoring the Financial Consequences of an Expensive Wedding
.
Sure, it may very well be one of the most important days of anyone's life, but it's also critical to make sure that you are not saying "I do" to unnecessary financial distress.

Anything with the word "wedding" in front of it is expensive, whether it's cakes, flowers, photographers, coordinators, destinations or venues. Between parents, friends and social media, many millennials feel pressure to deliver on their big day, but there can be a very real and impactful financial trade-off between cake and punch and buffet and open bar. Think beyond Day 1. Days 2 and forward of a marriage are important, too!

  • All my life I’ve had this thing about fairness.

It’s pretty simple, it’s win win or not at all.

Let’s say you have a situation where you do something for someone, and you’re happy to do it because you’re going to get something back.

Let’s say that’s your job - you’re happy to go to work because your boss pays you to do a job.

What about a service you pay for - you’re happy to pay for it because you get provided with the service you require.

When that relationship starts to be abused by one of the parties is when it is game over for that relationship.

What about the fee (interest) you pay your bank to provide you with a loan. You get a loan and can buy a house (you’re happy) - the bank adds a new loan to their books and earn interest from you (they’re happy). But what about the situation where the interest rates are dropping to historic lows and the banks aren’t passing these reductions to you in full? How does that make you feel about your relationship with the bank?

The picture is from a client who I chatted with, and when I found out the interest rate he was being charged, I told him to call the bank to say he was looking around - the result - the bank reduced their rate over the phone and he saves $4283 interest a year.

Want to know what’s worse? Most clients I talk to have interest rates at low to mid 4’s when rates at low to mid 3’s are in the market.

The big 4 banks made nearly 30BILLION DOLLARS last year - I think they’ll go alright if you question the value of your relationship with them and save a few bucks along the way!

If your interest rate doesn’t start with a 3, give your bank a call and tell em Jace sent ya!!!

  • 📚💵👨‍💼 Service-Driven, Results-Oriented Professional providing Accounting and Taxation Services 👨‍💼💵📚 Good day,

My name is Matthew Masters and I am an aspiring CPA who has a passion for helping individuals and businesses succeed with their accounting and financial goals.

Instead of dealing with a big accounting firm or partner who does not have the dedicated one-on-one time, spend your time wisely with someone who truly wants to help. I strive to make sure every client feels comfortable and is informed each step of the way. An open and honest relationship is something every individual should have with their accountant.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we will meet (I will come to you!) and I will listen to what questions and concerns that are present. After I explain how I can help and an understanding is met, we can continue formally with any of the following services: • Individual/Sole Proprietor Tax Return Filing
• Corporate Tax Return Filing
• GST/HST Filing
• GST/HST Reviews
• CRA Audit Assistance
• Cost Accounting (Budgets, Comparisons, Cost Reports)
• Retirement Planning (CPP vs. RRSP, OAS, etc.)
• Northern Tax Issues (Northern Resident Deduction)
• Bookkeeping Services

All of the above services are offered in the following Yukon communities: • Whitehorse
• Carcross
• Teslin
• Tagish
• Watson Lake
• Carmacks
• Haines Junction
• Beaver Creek
• Burwash Landing
• Faro
• Ross River
• Pelly Crossing
• Stewart Crossing
• Mayo
• Keno City
• Dawson City

Pricing options include: • Fixed-contract pricing (for longer engagements)

  • There's no one insurer that is strong in every solution in financial planning. That is why having someone who represents multiple insurers can mitigate this problem.
.
.
Sometimes we think all the plans are about the same and the differences are minute. For certain plans this might be true. However, for other plans this is far from what is assumed. .
.
Don't shortchange yourself. Give yourself a chance to find out more!

  • consistently delaying something important in your life because you’re overthinking how to make it “perfect?” 🤚🏼(#itme) I didn’t realize how PERFECT “done” ✅ feels until I started calling myself to the mat.

Life doesn’t wait for perfect; get it done and tweak it to perfection later. 😘

  • It's no secret that the pension is dying in America. 😵

It is also important to understand that the 401K shifts all of the investment risk over to the employee who is trying to accumulate as much wealth as possible for retirement. 😒

Aside from the vast risk associated with a 401K, do you know just how much a 2-3% annual fee on your 401K will erode your retirement nest egg over the course of your life? 🤷‍♂️ 👉👉Contact us to learn more and get access to our webinar, Creating Your Own Pension.

  • When you control your spending, you win!" 🏆
.
You work hard for your money right? Wouldn't you want to save an extra $250 a month without having to work overtime at a job? Truth is, everyone can find a few bucks to save if they just took a step back and really control their spending. And I'm not talking the big ticket items, because saving on a small scale is really what adds up
.
⭐️Saving $250 / Month is $3,000 a year
.
⭐️Add $3,000 into a S&P 500 Index Fund, every year for 5 years and expect a total
account value of $22,668. (7% annual return)
.
Looks like that lunch money and cable money can set you up for a down payment on a house!
Money Mindset is everything. Start Small. Win BIG! #shannoncanhelp .
