Friday morning warm up... fully saturated,
flowing like water.
Typical, the first throw of the day is almost certainly not the best pot of the session... this one...not even a keeper actually. .
But, it abruptly stopped raining shortly afterwards ...and was feelin that good moody vibe. .
Happy Weekending. ✌🏽

"Nobody can help anybody in Abaco, there’s no place safe, everything is destroyed.”
Firstina Swain, 75, lost her home in Abaco, Bahamas, during the devastating Hurricane Dorian 🌀. “The people of Abaco need to get out, there are too many dead bodies, and I don’t think they finished finding them.”
“Literally hundreds, up to thousands, of people are still missing,” Joy Jibrilu, the director general of the Bahamian tourism and aviation ministry, told CNN.
Hundreds of people fled Great Abaco by boat and plane and thousands more lined up to get on a cruise ship leaving neighbouring Grand Bahama to escape the catastrophic aftermath of Dorian.

I wasn’t able to get to the beach last week during the week when Long Island was going off, but here is a short clip from the leftovers from Saturday.
Surf photography is one of my favorite forms of photography and I hope to keep improving and learning more. It’s also hard to shoot surfers when there is surf because I want to be out in the line up with them! I was able to get a few photos in between sessions while I warmed up before going back out.
This is not to say that you should go with Aluminum over Vinyl, because Vinyl is a great product. But it is not perfect for every application.
In this case, the homeowner had very limited track space for new sliders. Other companies that came in trying to sell Vinyl offered to use subs to pour a concrete footer and build out the header to accommodate the wider vinyl tracks. Totally unnecessary and an extra cost to the homeowner that is unneeded. We were able to get her a great aluminum product at a far better price than the vinyl guys coming in with outrageous prices.
That's what we say, not every window is perfect for every application. Just because your neighbor did one product doesn't mean it's going to work for you.
Be sure that you keep track of your assets and personal belongings that are important to you. Knowing the value of each of these items will also help make the insurance claim process more seamless. Taking photos of your belongings will
prove that you had ownership of these items if they are taken or destroyed when the storm finally hits. #hurricaneseason#hurricanepreparedness

Depending on the severity of a storm, it is possible that your home plumbing or septic system could be damaged. Hazard Management Cayman Islands recommends collecting containers to use as temporary toilets. Use garbage bags to line at least two 5-gallon buckets with tight fitting covers. #hurricaneseason#survivaltip#beprepared

Happy National Boss Day to our managing partner, Thomas Morgan! We are so thankful for all that you do for us and our firm! Thanks for making MLG a great place to work! 😃⚖️
There are two issues to consider with a hurricane: wind and water. If a hurricane were to hit locally, are you protected? Here's what you need to know: ✔️Wind coverage outside of Florida is always included in a home insurance policy. ✔️If you are coastal, up to 5 miles from water your policy may have a Wind deductible that is separate and larger than your primary deductible (from 2-5% of your building coverage).
✔️Water damage, or flood, is the bigger issue in that it is excluded from coverage on home policies. ✔️Buy Flood insurance thru the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) if you are in a designated Flood zone. ✔️Add Excess Flood coverage to your policy as the NFIP only gives you $250,00O for building coverage.

One of the best parts about getting a new roof is the potential insurance savings! It’s the best way to save money on your Homeowner’s Insurance Policy. Install hurricane straps and a secondary water barrier on your new roof for big savings! We provide a FREE mitigation inspection report that considers these two items as well as roof geometry, gable end bracing, roof covering, wall construction type and opening protection (door and windows).

Swerving at high speeds increases the potential of losing control, causing a rollover or colliding with another vehicle. In most situations, it’s safer for drivers to maintain control of their vehicle and proceed with as much caution as possible.
