It's the most wonderful time of the year. (At least for me)
Between corn mazes, pumpkin patches and hay rides, how could you go wrong? I love making all the kinds of soups and warming up with spiced cider. Maybe even some pumpkin beer... What do you enjoy during the fall?
So much fun at the pumpkin 🎃 patch yesterday with Zacks school! (Even though it was freezing!) ❄️ #CuffsFarm#4K#PumpkinsForDays#Hayride#35degrees#FallinWisconsin
Side Note: I experienced the greatest #actofkindness yesterday when a random woman walked all the way across the pumpkin patch to carry my bag of pumpkins, gourds and corn. With the baby in the carrier, my purse, holding the boys hands and trying to carry the pumpkins, she was a life saver! She even continued to walk them to my car! (She and her friend also had two kids and pumpkins of their own!) Anyways- just wanted to spread the love and share there are really great people out there!
Let me just brag about this man for a moment. He is the definition of a caring husband and father; he works his butt off, puts us first ALWAYS, oh and rescues his stressed out wife when her transmission decides to go out 🤦🏻♀️ ...even when she’s 5 hours away.
If you didn’t see, I had packed up the ENTIRE car with all of the crap (traveling with kids, am I right?) only to go to drive it off and it wouldn’t go out of first. 💩 •
So I sent the car home via tow truck and Josh came to rescue us. I was so stressed and immensely BUMMED because I was going to the pumpkin patch with the kids.
This morning we got up and packed the truck (so thankful for all the gears working 😂) and stopped at the pumpkin patch on the way home. Memories were made, fun was had, and my trusty knight made everything better! 😍
It’s October and that means it’s time for all things fall, including pumpkin patches, hayrides, and Halloween themed events.
A good time to check in because this is the fastest part of the year. Before you know it, we’ll be ringing in 2020 with some bubbly Martinelli’s. We hit the last three months of the year, and there’s still plenty of time to make significant progress, but it takes some planning and recommitting.
It’s time to look at our new year's resolutions set in January, review the ones that we didn’t follow through, and which ones we've stuck with. I miserably failed in building the habit of listening to audiobooks, but I am proud of undertaking my goal of reading a book a month.
What's still on your “This year I will” list⁉️
And remember, still 78 days left to love, enjoy, and thrive!
